Save the Date!
Andrea Carter from the Alzheimer's Association in Wausau was unable to attend our Health Fair in October. However, Andrea will be here on Sunday, February 5.
She will discuss the ten signs of Alzheimer's disease in the chapel after Sunday morning service, and she will be available for questions.
Medication Safety Bags
Some of you may already have one, but for those who would like to know about them, they are used as a medication safety bag to help you manage your meds. The bag is red in color and also is free. You can even put an ice-pack in them when taking meds that require refrigeration with you. These bags can also be used in emergency situations. If you use the bag to store your meds and need to go to the doctors office you can just bring the bag with you. If you have a medical situation, emergency personnel can easily find all your meds quickly so you are appropriately treated in a timely manner. If you are interested in obtaining a red bag please call my office and leave a message. Next month watch for an article on medication safety. Rosemary Forbes, Parish Nurse
From the Mission Team
Would you like a mission project you can do from home? The Mission Team is looking for someone who is willing to make contact with our Community Supper church representatives a week prior to when they will be cooking and serving at our church. If you would be willing to make these calls for our Community Supper ministry, please contact Bill Hall or Joy Nelson-Jeffers. Thank you. |
