Church School Classes for preschool through 8th grade will be held on Sundays February 12 and 26.

Women of all ages are invited to participate in exploring the lives of Biblical women and your own. In ancient times the Red Tent was a safe and sacred place where women gathered to experience, share, celebrate and mourn the rhythms of life as a woman. This program was developed by a Presbyterian candidate for ordained ministry in Fullerton, CA. Her purpose for this series is to dig deeper into the Biblical narrative to learn more about the women and ourselves. The next session is:

Saturday, Feb. 21, 9 to 11 am: Sarah and Hagar: A Journey. Readings for this day are: Genesis 12:1-13:1; 16:1-16; 17:15-22; 18:9-15; 20:1- 18; 21:1-21; 23:1-4, 19.

Please pre-registration (a week in advance) so enough participant materials are available.

The families involved in the weekly GEMS program are sponsoring Blankets Plus Sunday on February 12. This project is a special    mission opportunity to assist people in need around the world. Contributions provide the means to transform lives and communities. It is about blankets, tents, food, emergency supplies for victims of disasters; tools and seeds for refugees returning home; wells for families in drought prone areas; literacy training; and more. $5 will provide a blanket to someone displaced by disaster. $15 can provide seeds and tools. $25 can provide literacy training or emergency food. Our goal is to raise at least $1,000. Watch for the Wishing Well in the coat room, and join us on February 12 as we share information during worship and host a Mission Event and lunch after worship that day.
