Singing the Lord's Song in a Strange Land: Synod School - 2012
Save the dates July 22-27, 2012 for an exciting week (for all ages) at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. Organizers are seeking volunteers to lead in a new program for elementary Synod School children to capture the imaginations and learning styles of children in a new way. Find information about this and Synod School workshops on The Discipleship Board in the east hallway at church. Brochures will be available in February. P.I.E. (Presbytery educators group) will again provide for a bus to take people from our Presbytery.
GEMS and an Adult Bible Study meet on Wednesday afternoons at 4:15 and 4:30 respectively. Lynnette Buzzell is leading the adult study on the book of Revelation. GEMS families are working on the Blankets Plus for Church World Service mission project.

Youth Ministry on a Shoe-String (or No String) Budget is a free workshop sponsored by P.I.E. (the Presbytery's educator group) on Saturday, February 25th from 9 am to 1 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Green Bay. The event is free. Lunch (optional) is $5. Sunday, February 5: Andrea Carter from the Alzheimer's Association will do a presentation on the signs of Alzheimer's Disease after worship in the Chapel.
Sunday, February 29: Tony Omernik will talk about United Way's RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer) program after worship.
