COOKBOOK UPDATE
From the Stewardship Committee...

The cookbook project has been tabled at this time. Unfortunately, we did not get a sufficient number of recipes to publish a sizable book.  It was also felt that this is not a good time to have another church sale.  All the  recipes that have been submitted were      organized and are ready for publication should this project be taken up at a later date.  Thank you to all who provided these delicious recipes!

HOME COMMUNION
MINISTRY

Elders and Deacons, currently serving or not, can accompany Joy Nelson-Jeffers in bringing communion to our homebound for an day or an afternoon in December. If interested, please give her a call at or email JoyMNJ@aol.com.

Sometimes we cannot do a thing about the situation we are in…
but we can do something about the way we deal with it!

We anticipate an increase in the number of people requesting help from our Food Pantry. We have noticed an increase with many more single people coming in.  We served 86 families on November 4th.  We may see an increase of at least 20 families this month after distribution Nov. 18, but we are ready to meet the need!

Two churches collected and delivered bags of food for us to use in our Food Pantry.  On "Make a Difference" Day, three Girl Scout Troops collected the items that we received. Altogether we have received over 1,800 additional items which really helps us out!

We thank you all for your prayers and your financial support, and thank the many faithful volunteers for their support on distribution days.  With many people working together in this vital ministry, we are making a difference in the lives of hundreds of people that are hurting during these tough economic times.

Thank You from your Health Committee.
