CHRISTMAS ANGEL MINISTRY

The Deacons' Christmas Angel Ministry is in full swing.  For more than 10 years our church "angels" have helped many church and community families experience a     special Christmas by providing much needed food, clothing and household items.  If you haven't had the chance to visit our Christmas Angel table, you can do so one more time on Sunday, December 7th in the parlor.  You will find an assortment of gift ideas to purchase, wrap, and return to church by December 14th.   Also, monetary contributions are gratefully accepted and can be made to Deacons Christmas Angel Ministry to help defray the cost of this project.  Thank you for making Christmas brighter for these families..

AFTERNOON ADVENT SERVICE WITH
COMMUNION

Come worship with us at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 7th in our freshly  adorned sanctuary with greens and poinsettias,  chrismons and candles.  Then we'll gather for coffee, tea and cookies in the parlor. Bring along a neighbor or a friend or  someone for whom a morning service is difficult to attend. We  have volunteers on hand to provide transportation.  Please call Joy Nelson-Jeffers (359-9844) if you need a ride and plan to join us for this special Advent communion service.

150th Anniversary Items Make Great Christmas Gifts!

There are still a number of commemorative clay mugs, travel mugs and ornaments for our 150th anniversary - things that will make great Christmas gifts. Another great gift is that you can still give to the 150th Anniversary Fund through the end of the year to help support our interior design project, or our mission emphasis for food ministry or Uraba Presbytery. Thanks to all of you who have helped with our fund this year! (Commemorative items will be on sale in the coatroom during December or stop in at church during the week if you would like to make a purchase or donation.)
