“CrossRoads” Education
Hour at 8:45 a.m. – Each Sunday adults are invited to spend time
in discussion with the pastor for the day about scripture lessons
and sermon topics for the day unless otherwise noted.
May 4, 11, and 18– Scripture and Sermon Conversation with the
pastor.
After worship opportunities for adults – 11:15 a.m.:
May 18th: Special program after worship on The History of
our Presbyterian Chapels (era from 1883-1977).
Thursday’s, through May 29. 12:15-1:00 pm: Book
Discussion. Rev. Wright will lead a discussion and study about
the book entitled The Cross in our Context, by Douglas
John Hall.
Tuesday’s, May 6, 13, and 20 and June 3, 10, 17,
6:30 to 8:00 pm Bible Study: The Book of Romans Come explore
Paul’s letters to the Romans and discover insights into Christian
faith.
150th Anniversary Celebration Weekend
Saturday, June 7, 2008: 3:00 p.m. Celebration Concert, Ice
Cream Social and Open House
Concert featuring Wausau Pro Musica, Wausau Lyric Choir, First Pres
Hallelu! Ensemble, and other guests.
Open house includes displays reflecting our presence in the
community and the world.
Sunday, June 8, 2008: 10:00 a.m. Worship; 11:30 a.m. Catered
Anniversary Dinner
Oven Fried Chicken or Roast Beef
Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy
